'And seeing that Gandharva approach like an enraged lion, the Sutas, struck with terror and overwhelmed with fear, fell into utter panic.' ।। 4-22-21 ।।
तम अन्तकम इवायान्तं गन्धर्वं परेक्ष्य ते तदा दिधक्षन्तस तदा जयेष्ठं भरातरं हय उपकीचकाः परस्परम अथॊचुस ते विषादभयकम्पिताः ।। ४-२२-२२ ।।
'Beholding the Gandharva advancing like Antaka, the god of death, the followers of Kichaka—who had been preparing to burn the body of their eldest— were shaken with fear and confusion, and said to one another in trembling voices.' ।। 4-22-22 ।।
tama antakama ivAyAntaM gandharvaM parekSya te tadA didhakSantasa tadA jayeSThaM bharAtaraM haya upakIcakAH parasparama athòcusa te viSAdabhayakampitAH || 4-22-22 ||
'And they said to one another, 'Behold, the powerful Gandharva is coming, filled with rage and with an uprooted tree in hand! Let Sairindhri be released at once—for it is because of her that this danger has befallen us.'' ।। 4-22-23 ।।
'And beholding them flee, Bhima—the mighty son of the Wind-god—hurled that great tree and sent a hundred and five of them to the abode of Yama, like the wielder of the thunderbolt slaying the Danavas.' ।। 4-22-25 ।।
