'Seeing him falter, Bhima, filled with great power, forcibly drew Kichaka closer to his chest and began to press him hard.' ॥ 4-21-56 ॥

Breathing heavily with fury, the mighty Vrikodara—the champion of warriors—grasped Kichaka firmly by the hair-

'Roaring like a hungry tiger that has slain a great beast, Bhima held the exhausted Kichaka tightly, binding him as one would a wild animal with a cord.' ॥ 4-21-58 ॥

तस्य पादौ च पाणी च शिरॊग्रीवां च सर्वशः काये परवेशयाम आस पशॊर इव पिनाक धृक ॥ ४-२१-५९ ॥
'Grasping him by the feet, hands, head, and neck, and seizing his entire body, the wielder of the Pinaka (Bhima) held him firmly like one restrains a wild beast.' ॥ 4-21-59 ॥

तं संमथित सर्वाङ्गं मांसपिण्डॊपमं कृतम कृष्णायै दर्शयाम आस भीमसेनॊ महाबलः ॥ ४-२१-६० ॥
'Bhimasena, the mighty, subdued that entire body — a mass of flesh — and presented him before Krishna (Draupadi).' ॥ 4-21-60 ॥
