[भीमस] तथा भद्रे करिष्यामि यथा तवं भीरु भाषसे अद्य तं सूदयिष्यामि कीचकं सह बान्धवम ॥ ४-२१-१ ॥
'Bhima said: "I will do exactly as you say, O timid one. Very soon, I shall slay Kichaka along with all his companions."' ॥ 4-21-1 ॥
english translation
[bhImasa] tathA bhadre kariSyAmi yathA tavaM bhIru bhASase adya taM sUdayiSyAmi kIcakaM saha bAndhavama ॥ 4-21-1 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअस्याः परदॊषे शर्वर्याः कुरुष्वानेन संगमम दुःखं शॊकं च निर्धूय याज्ञसेनि शुचिस्मिते ॥ ४-२१-२ ॥
'Therefore, O Yajnaseni of sweet smiles, tomorrow evening, cast aside your sorrow and grief — and arrange a meeting with Kichaka.' ॥ 4-21-2 ॥
english translation
asyAH paradòSe zarvaryAH kuruSvAnena saMgamama duHkhaM zòkaM ca nirdhUya yAjJaseni zucismite ॥ 4-21-2 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयैषा नर्तन शाला वै मत्स्यराजेन कारिता दिवात्र कन्या नृत्यन्ति रात्रौ यान्ति यथा गृहम ॥ ४-२१-३ ॥
'The dancing-hall that the king of the Matsyas caused to be built is frequented by young women for their performances during the day, but they return to their homes at night.' ॥ 4-21-3 ॥
english translation
yaiSA nartana zAlA vai matsyarAjena kAritA divAtra kanyA nRtyanti rAtrau yAnti yathA gRhama ॥ 4-21-3 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्रास्ति शयनं भीरु दृज्ढाङ्गं सुप्रतिष्ठितम तत्रास्य दर्शयिष्यामि पूर्वप्रेतान पितामहान ॥ ४-२१-४ ॥
'In that hall stands a well-placed wooden bedstead of fine craftsmanship. It is there that I shall make Kichaka behold the spirits of his departed grandsires.' ॥ 4-21-4 ॥
english translation
tatrAsti zayanaM bhIru dRjDhAGgaM supratiSThitama tatrAsya darzayiSyAmi pUrvapretAna pitAmahAna ॥ 4-21-4 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयथा च तवां न पश्येयुः कुर्वाणां तेन संविदम कुर्यास तथा तवं कल्याणि यथा संनिहितॊ भवेत ॥ ४-२१-५ ॥
'But, O fair one, when you speak with him, take care that no one else sees or hears you — manage the meeting with utmost secrecy.' ॥ 4-21-5 ॥

yathA ca tavAM na pazyeyuH kurvANAM tena saMvidama kuryAsa tathA tavaM kalyANi yathA saMnihitò bhaveta ॥ 4-21-5 ॥
