'As he stepped into the great hall, shrouded in deep darkness, that wicked-souled wretch came upon Bhima—of unmatched strength—who had arrived earlier and was silently waiting in a corner.' ।। 4-21-41 ।।
'Like an insect drawn to a blazing fire or a small animal approaching a lion, Kichaka, burning with anger over the insult to Krishna—the Suta’s Death—advanced toward Bhima, who lay hidden on the bed.' ।। 4-21-42 ।।
परापितं ते मया वित्तं बहुरूपम अनन्तकम सत सर्वं तवां समुद्दिश्य सहसा समुपागतः ।। ४-२१-४४ ।।
'O one with penciled eyebrows, I have already given you great wealth from my treasures, a hundred maidservants, many fine robes, and even a mansion with a private chamber richly adorned with beautiful, youthful maidens and every kind of entertainment. Having reserved all this for you, I have come here without delay.' ।। 4-21-44 ।।
नाकस्मान मां परशंसन्ति सदा गृहगताः सत्रियः सुवासा दर्शनीयश च नान्यॊ ऽसति तवा दृशः पुमान ।। ४-२१-४५ ।।
'Lately, women have suddenly begun to praise me," Kichaka said, "saying, 'There is no one in the world who matches you in beauty or style!'' ।। 4-21-45 ।।
