धनंजयॊ वा सुश्रॊणि यमौ वा तनुमध्यमे लॊकान्तर गतेष्व एषु नाहं शक्ष्यामि जीवितुम ॥ ४-२०-६ ॥
'Whether it be Dhananjaya or Suśrōṇi or Yama himself in the middle of them, I shall not be able to live among such otherworldly beings.' ॥ 4-20-6 ॥
english translation
सुकन्या नाम शार्याती भार्गवं चयचनं वने वल्मीक भूतं शाम्यन्तम अन्वपद्यत भामिनी ॥ ४-२०-७ ॥
'In ancient times, Sukanya, the beautiful daughter of Sarjati, followed into the forest Chyavana of the Bhrigu lineage—a sage whose mind was perfectly controlled, and over whom, during his deep meditation.' ॥ 4-20-7 ॥

नाड्दायनी चेन्द्रसेना रूपेण यदि ते शरुता पतिम अन्वचरद वृद्धं पुरा वर्षसहस्रिणम ॥ ४-२०-८ ॥
'You may also have heard of Indrasena, who, in beauty, was like Narayani herself, and who faithfully followed her husband, though he was a thousand years old.' ॥ 4-20-8 ॥

दुहिता जनकस्यापि वैदेही यदि ते शरुता पतिम अन्वचरत सीता महारण्यनिवासिनम ॥ ४-२०-९ ॥
'You may have heard how Janaka’s daughter, Sita, the princess of Videha, faithfully followed her lord even while dwelling in dense forests.' ॥ 4-20-9 ॥

रक्षसा निग्रहं पराप्य रामस्य महिषी परिया कलिश्यमानापि सुश्रॊणी रामम एवान्वपद्यत ॥ ४-२०-१० ॥
'That graceful lady, beloved wife of Rama, though beset by calamities and pursued by Rakshasas, at last was reunited with Rama.' ॥ 4-20-10 ॥
