Dhruva appears blazing and moves in a dreadful, leftward (inauspicious) course; and a harsh planet is stationed in the interval between Citrā and Svātī.

The earth is covered with every kind of crop and garlanded with fruit; barley appears with five heads, and rice plants with a hundred heads.

english translation

Cows—revered as the chief supports of all the worlds, on whom this world is understood to rest—were seen with their calves streaming milk, yet at the same time discharging blood: a baleful portent, an inversion of nature’s order.

english translation

Swords were seen slipping forth from their sheaths, blazing with fierce radiance; as though the weapons themselves clearly ‘knew’ that battle was at hand.
