Having attained the worlds of the meritorious and dwelt there for many years, one who has fallen from yoga is born again in the house of the pure and prosperous.

english translation

Or else, he is born in the family of yogins—of the wise. For such a birth as this is rarer in the world.

english translation

There he regains that connection with understanding from the former embodiment, and then he strives again toward full attainment, O joy of the Kurus.

english translation

By that very prior practice, he is carried onward, even against his will. Even one who merely seeks to understand yoga transcends the domain of śabda-brahman—the Vedic verbal formulations and ritual injunctions.

english translation

But the yogin who strives with sustained effort, purified of moral and cognitive impurities, becomes perfected through many births; thereafter he attains the highest destination.
