What is action, and what is non-action? Even the learned are perplexed here. I shall explain action to you; knowing it, you will be released from what is inauspicious.

english translation

One must understand action; one must also understand distorted or prohibited action; and one must understand non-action. The course of action is difficult to discern.

english translation

One who perceives non-action within action, and action within non-action—he is wise among humans; he is disciplined, and he has effectively accomplished all action.

english translation

He whose undertakings are free from desire-driven intention—whose actions have been ‘burned’ by the fire of knowledge—him the wise call a learned person.

english translation

Having abandoned attachment to the fruits of action, ever content and dependent on nothing, even while fully engaged in action, in truth he does not ‘do’ anything as a binding agent.
