Those who consistently follow this teaching of Mine—endowed with trust and free from fault-finding—are also released from the binding force of actions.

english translation

But those who, finding fault with this, do not follow My teaching—know them to be confused regarding all understanding, lacking discernment, and thereby self-defeating.

english translation

Even the wise act in accord with their own prakṛti. Beings follow their nature; what can mere suppression accomplish?

english translation

For each sense toward its object, attraction and aversion are established. One should not come under their control, for they are obstacles on the path.

english translation

One’s own duty (svadharma), even if imperfectly performed, is better than another’s duty well performed. Even death in one’s own duty is preferable; another’s duty is fraught with fear.
