इत्येतत्ते महाराज पृच्छतः शास्त्रचक्षुषा । सर्वमुक्तं यथातत्त्वं तस्माच्छममवाप्नुहि॥६-१३-४६॥
Thus, O great king, in answer to your inquiry made with the “eye of śāstra,” everything has been stated according to the truth; therefore, attain calm.
english translation
यथादृष्टं मया प्रोक्तं सनिर्याणमिदं जगत् । तस्मादाश्वस कौरव्य पुत्रं दुर्योधनं प्रति॥६-१३-४७॥
I have spoken of this world as I have perceived it, together with its courses and movements. Therefore, O Kaurava, take reassurance regarding your son Duryodhana.

श्रुत्वेदं भरतश्रेष्ठ भूमिपर्व मनोनुगम् । श्रीमान्भवति राजन्यः सिद्धार्थः साधुसंमतः । आयुर्बलं च वीर्यं च तस्य तेजश्च वर्धते॥६-१३-४८॥
Having heard this Bhūmi-parvan, agreeable to the mind, O best of the Bharatas, a kṣatriya becomes prosperous, successful in purpose, and approved by the virtuous; his lifespan, strength, vigor, and radiance increase.
english translation
यः शृणोति महीपाल पर्वणीदं यतव्रतः । प्रीयन्ते पितरस्तस्य तथैव च पितामहाः॥६-१३-४९॥
O protector of the earth, whoever—disciplined in observance—hears this on a parvan (sacred occasion), his ancestors and likewise his grand-ancestors are pleased.
english translation
इदं तु भारतं वर्षं यत्र वर्तामहे वयम् । पूर्वं प्रवर्तते पुण्यं तत्सर्वं श्रुतवानसि॥६-१३-५०॥
This indeed is Bhārata-varṣa, where we dwell; here merit is said to arise foremost. You have heard all of that.
