एवं विंशतिवारं च कृत्वा कुर्याच्च कुम्भकम् । तदन्ते चालयेद्वायुं पूर्वोक्तं च यथाविधि ॥५-७६॥

After doing this method continuously twenty times, Kumbhak should be done by holding the air inside for some time. After this, that is, after doing Kumbhaka, air should be inhaled and exhaled in the same manner as before.

अथ भ्रामरीकुम्भकः । अर्धरात्रे गते योगी जन्तूनां शब्दवर्जिते । कर्णौ पिधाय हस्ताभ्यां कुर्यात्पूरककुम्भकम् ॥५-७८॥

Yogi should be alert after midnight i.e. in the third quarter of the night when the sounds of all the living beings stop completely. Then close both your ears with both your hands and inhale the breath and then hold it in Kumbhak i.e. for some time.
