Durga Kavach
अथ श्री दुर्गा: कवचम् ॐ नमश्चण्डिकायै। ॥ मार्कण्डेय उवाच ॥ ॐ यद्गुह्यं परमं लोके सर्वरक्षाकरं नृणाम्। यन्न कस्य चिदाख्यातं तन्मे ब्रूहि पितामह॥१॥
Kavach starts Salutations to Chandika Devi. Thus spoke Markandeya: O Lord Brahmadeva (Grand father of all) , please tell me that which is very secret and has not been told by anyone to anybody else and which Protects all human beings in this world.

atha zrI durgA: kavacam OM namazcaNDikAyai। ॥ mArkaNDeya uvAca ॥ OM yadguhyaM paramaM loke sarvarakSAkaraM nRNAm। yanna kasya cidAkhyAtaM tanme brUhi pitAmaha॥1॥
