अश्वगन्धा च शृङ्गी च सारिवा सपुनर्नवा । सहे तथा विदारी च कषायाः सेचने हिताः ॥३॥
The decoction of Ashvagandha, Ajashringi, Sariva, Punarnava, the two kinds of Saha, and Vidari should be used in sprinkling (Secana) the body of the affected child.

अश्वगंधा, अजश्रृंगी, सारिवा, पुनर्नवा, सहस और विदारी के दो प्रकारों का काढ़ा रोगी बच्चे के शरीर पर छिड़कना चाहिए।
तैलमभ्यञ्जने कार्यं कुष्ठे सर्जरसेऽपि च । पलङ्कषायां नलदे तथा गिरिकदम्बके ॥४॥
Medicated oil should be used for anointing the body, cooked with Kushtha and Sarjarasa (resin). It should also be prepared with the decoction of Palanka, Kashaya (astringent herbs), Nalada, and Girikadambaka.

शरीर पर लेप करने के लिए औषधीय तेल का उपयोग करना चाहिए, जिसे कुष्ठ और सर्जरस (राल) के साथ पकाया गया हो। इसे पालक, कषाय (कसैली जड़ी-बूटियाँ), नालदा और गिरिकादम्बक के काढ़े के साथ भी तैयार किया जाना चाहिए।
धवाश्वकर्णककुभधातकीतिन्दुकीषु च । काकोल्यादिगणे चैव पानीयं सर्पिरिष्यते ॥५॥
Medicated Ghrita (clarified butter) should be prepared with the decoction of Dhava, Ashva-karna, Kakubha, Dhataki, Tinduka, and the drugs of the Kakolyadi group, and should be administered internally as a draught.

धव, अश्वकर्ण, ककुभा, धातकी, तिन्दुका तथा काकोल्यादि औषधियों के काढ़े से औषधीय घृत तैयार किया जाना चाहिए तथा इसे मुख द्वारा दिया जाना चाहिए।
