उद्धृतैरुद्धृतैः शान्तिः पक्ष्मभिश्चोपजायते । वातातपानलद्वेषी पक्ष्मकोपः स उच्यते ॥३०॥
When the eye-lashes are raised and become peaceful, they are said to relieve the discomfort caused by the disturbance of the Doshas. The condition that results in pain due to the exposure to wind, heat, or fire is known as Pakshmakope (the irritation or inflammation of the eye-lashes).
