रात्रौ सूर्यं ज्वलन्तं वा दिवा वा चन्द्रवर्चसम् | अमेघोपप्लवे यश्च शक्रचापतडिद्गुणान् ||१६||

The person who sees the sun shining at night or the moonlight during the day, or who perceives phenomena like lightning or rainbow even when there is no rain, should be considered as having an unfavorable prognosis.

english translation

जो व्यक्ति रात में सूर्य को चमकते हुए देखता है या दिन में चाँदनी देखता है, या जो बिना बारिश के भी बिजली या इंद्रधनुष जैसी घटनाओं को अनुभव करता है, उसे प्रतिकूल भविष्यवाणी वाला माना जाता है।

तडित्त्वतोऽसितान् यो वा निर्मले गगने घनान् | विमानयानप्रासादैर्यश्च सङ्कुलमम्बरम् ||१७||

The person who sees lightning in a clear sky, or perceives clouds or aerial chariots in the absence of any, or who observes a sky filled with structures like palaces or aircraft, should be considered as having an unfavorable prognosis.

जो व्यक्ति एक साफ आकाश में बिजली देखता है, या बिना किसी कारण के बादल या विमान देखता है, या आकाश को महलों या विमानों जैसी संरचनाओं से भरा हुआ अनुभव करता है, उसे प्रतिकूल भविष्यवाणी वाला माना जाता है।

The person who sees the sky as if it were enveloped by smoke or a covering resembling dust, or who perceives the earth as being obscured in a similar manner, should be considered as having an unfavorable prognosis.

जो व्यक्ति आकाश को धुएँ या धूल की परत से ढका हुआ देखता है, या जो पृथ्वी को इसी प्रकार से ढका हुआ अनुभव करता है, उसे प्रतिकूल भविष्यवाणी वाला माना जाता है।

जो व्यक्ति दुनिया को जैसे जलती हुई या पानी में तैरती हुई देखता है, या जो पृथ्वी को विभिन्न रेखाओं से चिह्नित या विकृत रूप में अनुभव करता है, उसे प्रतिकूल भविष्यवाणी वाला माना जाता है।

The person who cannot see the constellations or the celestial bodies, who fails to perceive the Pole Star, the Milky Way, or the divine Ganges in the sky, should be considered as having an unfavorable prognosis.

जो व्यक्ति नक्षत्रों या आकाशीय पिंडों को नहीं देख पाता, जो ध्रुव तारा, आकाशगंगा, या आकाश में दिव्य गंगा को महसूस नहीं कर पाता, उसे प्रतिकूल भविष्यवाणी वाला माना जाता है।
