माहिषे दौर्हृदाच्छूरं रक्ताक्षं लोमसंयुतम् | वराहमांसात् स्वप्नालुं शूरं सञ्जनयेत् सुतम् ||२६||

sanskrit

The flesh of a buffalo (Mahiṣa) produces a child who is endowed with strength, characterized by red eyes and hair. The flesh of a boar (Varāha) produces a dreamer (one who is often lost in thoughts) and a valiant child.

मार्गाद्विक्रान्तजङ्घालं सदा वनचरं सुतम् | सृमराद्विग्नमनसं नित्यभीतं च तैत्तिरात् ||२७||

sanskrit

A child born from the flesh of an animal that frequents the path (a wild animal) will be one who is agile, always roaming in the forest. Such a child will have a restless mind, be constantly afraid, and possess characteristics akin to those of a Taittira (a type of bird).

Therefore, any woman who speaks of the qualities of her womb will give birth to an offspring with similar characteristics and traits of the body and disposition.

The being, influenced by its actions, will take birth again; thus, by divine association, it gives rise to a child with similar traits in the heart.

पञ्चमे मनः प्रतिबुद्धतरं भवति, षष्ठे बुद्धिः, सप्तमे सर्वाङ्गप्रत्यङ्गविभागः प्रव्यक्ततरः; अष्टमेऽस्थिरीभवत्योजः , तत्र जातश्चेन्न जीवेन्निरोजस्त्वान्नैरृतभागत्वाच्च [१९] , ततो बलिं मांसौदनमस्मै दापयेत्; नवमदशमैकादशद्वादशानामन्यतमस्मिञ्जायते, अतोऽन्यथा विकारी भवति ||३०||

In the fifth month, the mind becomes more conscious; in the sixth, intelligence develops; in the seventh, the differentiation of the entire body occurs more distinctly. In the eighth, it becomes solidified; if born then, it does not possess the vitality of life, nor is it influenced by the elemental forces. Therefore, the mother should provide nutritious meat and rice for strength. In the ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth months, a different condition arises; otherwise, it becomes distorted.
