यत्र नारायणः साक्षाद्भगवान् न्यासिनां गतिः । संस्तूयते सत्कथासु मुक्तसङ्गैः पुनः पुनः ॥ ४-३०-३६ ॥

The Supreme Lord, Nārāyaṇa, is present among devotees who are engaged in hearing and chanting the holy name of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Lord Nārāyaṇa is the ultimate goal of sannyāsīs, those in the renounced order of life, and Nārāyaṇa is worshiped through this saṅkīrtana movement by those who are liberated from material contamination. Indeed, they recite the holy name again and again. ॥ 4-30-36 ॥

english translation

जहाँ भक्तों के बीच भगवान् के पवित्र नाम का श्रवण तथा कीर्तन चलता रहता है, वहाँ भगवान् नारायण उपस्थित रहते हैं। संन्यासियों के चरम लक्ष्य भगवान् नारायण ही हैं और नारायण की पूजा उन व्यक्तियों द्वारा इस संकीर्तन आन्दोलन के माध्यम से की जाती है, जो भौतिक कल्मष से मुक्त हो चुके हैं। वे बारम्बार भगवान् के पवित्र नाम का उच्चारण करते हैं। ॥ ४-३०-३६ ॥

तेषां विचरतां पद्भ्यां तीर्थानां पावनेच्छया । भीतस्य किं न रोचेत तावकानां समागमः ॥ ४-३०-३७ ॥

Dear Lord, Your personal associates, devotees, wander all over the world to purify even the holy places of pilgrimage. Is not such activity pleasing to those who are actually afraid of material existence? ॥ 4-30-37 ॥

english translation

हे भगवन्, आपके पार्षद तथा भक्त संसार-भर में तीर्थस्थानों तक को पवित्र करने के लिए भ्रमण करते रहते हैं। जो इस संसार से भयभीत हैं, क्या ऐसा कार्य इन सबके लिए रुचिकर नहीं होता? ॥ ४-३०-३७ ॥

वयं तु साक्षाद्भगवन् भवस्य प्रियस्य सख्युः क्षणसङ्गमेन । सुदुश्चिकित्स्यस्य भवस्य मृत्योर्भिषक्तमं त्वाद्य गतिं गताः स्म ॥ ४-३०-३८ ॥

Dear Lord, by virtue of a moment’s association with Lord Śiva, who is very dear to You and who is Your most intimate friend, we were fortunate to attain You. You are the most expert physician, capable of treating the incurable disease of material existence. On account of our great fortune, we have been able to take shelter at Your lotus feet. ॥ 4-30-38 ॥

हे भगवन्, हम भाग्यशाली हैं कि आपके अत्यन्त प्रिय तथा अभिन्न मित्र शिवजी की क्षणमात्र की संगति से हम आपको प्राप्त कर सके हैं। आप इस संसार के असाध्य रोग का उपचार करने में समर्थ सर्वश्रेष्ठ वैद्य हैं। हमारा सौभाग्य था कि हमें आपके चरणकमलों का आश्रय प्राप्त हो सका। ॥ ४-३०-३८ ॥

यन्न: स्वधीतं गुरव: प्रसादिता विप्राश्च वृद्धाश्च सदानुवृत्त्या । आर्या नता: सुहृदो भ्रातरश्च सर्वाणि भूतान्यनसूययैव ॥ ४-३०-३९ ॥

Dear Lord, we have studied the Vedas, accepted a spiritual master and offered respect to brāhmaṇas, advanced devotees and aged personalities who are spiritually very advanced. We have offered our respects to them, and we have not been envious of any brother, friends or anyone else. ॥ 4-30-39 ॥

हे भगवन्, हमने वेदों का अध्ययन किया है, गुरु बनाया है और ब्राह्मणों, भक्तों तथा आध्यात्मिक दृष्टि से अत्यधिक उन्नत वरिष्ट पुरुषों को सम्मान प्रदान किया है। हमने अपने किसी भी भाई, मित्र या अन्य किसी से ईर्ष्या नहीं की। ॥ ४-३०-३९ ॥

यन्नः सुतप्तं तप एतदीश निरन्धसां कालमदभ्रमप्सु । सर्वं तदेतत्पुरुषस्य भूम्नो वृणीमहे ते परितोषणाय ॥ ४-३०-४० ॥

We have also undergone severe austerities within the water and have not taken food for a long time. All these spiritual assets of ours are simply offered for Your satisfaction. We pray for this benediction only, and nothing more. ॥ 4-30-40 ॥

हमने जल के भीतर रहकर कठिन तपस्या भी की है और दीर्घकाल तक भोजन नहीं ग्रहण किया। हमारी ये सारी आध्यात्मिक सम्पदाएँ आपको प्रसन्न करने के लिए सादर समर्पित हैं। हम आपसे केवल यही वर माँगते हैं, अन्य कुछ भी नहीं। ॥ ४-३०-४० ॥
