योऽविद्ययानुपहतोऽपि दशार्धवृत्त्या निद्रामुवाह जठरीकृतलोकयात्रः । अन्तर्जलेऽहिकशिपुस्पर्शानुकूलां भीमोर्मिमालिनि जनस्य सुखं विवृण्वन् ॥ ३-९-२० ॥
My Lord, You accept the pleasure of sleeping in the water of devastation, where there are violent waves, and You enjoy pleasure on the bed of snakes, showing the happiness of Your sleep to intelligent persons. At that time, all the universal planets are stationed within Your abdomen. ॥ 3-9-20 ॥

हे प्रभु, आप उस प्रलयकालीन जल में शयन करने का आनन्द लेते हैं जहाँ प्रचण्ड लहरें उठती रहती हैं और बुद्धिमान लोगों को अपनी नींद का सुख दिखाने के लिए आप सर्पों की शय्या का आनन्द भोगते हैं। उस काल में ब्रह्माण्ड के सारे लोक आपके उदर में स्थित रहते हैं। ॥ ३-९-२० ॥
