देशतः कालतो योऽसाववस्थातः स्वतोऽन्यतः । अविलुप्तावबोधात्मा स युज्येताजया कथम् ।। ३-७-५ ।।

sanskrit

The pure soul is pure consciousness and is never out of consciousness, either due to circumstances, time, situations, dreams or other causes. How then does he become engaged in nescience? ।। 3-7-5 ।।

english translation

शुद्ध आत्मा विशुद्ध चेतना है और वह परिस्थितियों, काल, स्थितियों, स्वप्नों अथवा अन्य कारणों से कभी भी चेतना से बाहर नहीं होता। तो फिर वह अविद्या में लिप्त क्यों होता है? ।। ३-७-५ ।।
