Srimad Bhagavatam
अस्राक्षीद्भगवान्विश्वं गुणमय्याऽऽत्ममायया । तया संस्थापयत्येतद्भूयः प्रत्यपिधास्यति ॥ ३-७-४ ॥
By His self-sheltered potency of the three modes of material nature, the Lord has caused the creation of this universe. By her He maintains the creation and conversely dissolves it, again and again. ॥ 3-7-4 ॥
english translation
भगवान् ने प्रकृति के तीन गुणों की स्वरक्षित शक्ति द्वारा इस ब्रह्माण्ड की सृष्टि कराई। वे उसी के द्वारा सृष्टि का पालन करते हैं और उल्टे पुन: पुन: उसका विलय भी करते हैं। ॥ ३-७-४ ॥
