मैत्रेय उवाच साधु पृष्टं त्वया साधो लोकान् साध्वनुगृह्णता । कीर्तिं वितन्वता लोके आत्मनोऽधोक्षजात्मनः ।। ३-५-१८ ।।

sanskrit

Śrī Maitreya said: O Vidura, all glory unto you. You have inquired from me of the greatest of all goodness, and thus you have shown your mercy both to the world and to me because your mind is always absorbed in thoughts of the Transcendence. ।। 3-5-18 ।।

english translation

श्रीमैत्रेय ने कहा : हे विदुर, तुम्हारी जय हो। तुमने मुझसे सबसे अच्छी बात पूछी है। इस तरह तुमने संसार पर तथा मुझ पर अपनी कृपा प्रदर्शित की है, क्योंकि तुम्हारा मन सदैव ब्रह्म के विचारों में लीन रहता है। ।। ३-५-१८ ।।
