यद्वनस्पतयो भीता लताश्चौषधिभिः सह । स्वे स्वे कालेऽभिगृह्णन्ति पुष्पाणि च फलानि च ॥ ३-२९-४१ ॥
Out of fear of the Supreme Personality of Godhead the trees, creepers, herbs and seasonal plants and flowers blossom and fructify, each in its own season. ॥ 3-29-41 ॥

भगवान् के भय से वृक्ष, लताएँ, जड़ी-बूटियाँ तथा मौसमी पौधे और फूल अपनी-अपनी ऋतु में फूलते और फलते हैं। ॥ ३-२९-४१ ॥

स्रवन्ति सरितो भीता नोत्सर्पत्युदधिर्यतः । अग्निरिन्धे सगिरिभिर्भूर्न मज्जति यद्भयात् ॥ ३-२९-४२ ॥
Out of fear of the Supreme Personality of Godhead the rivers flow, and the ocean never overflows. Out of fear of Him only does fire burn and does the earth, with its mountains, not sink in the water of the universe. ॥ 3-29-42 ॥

भगवान् के भय से नदियाँ बहती हैं तथा सागर कभी भरकर बाहर नहीं बहते । उनके ही भय से अग्नि जलती है और पृथ्वी अपने पर्वतों सहित ब्रह्माण्ड के जल में डूबती नहीं । ॥ ३-२९-४२ ॥

नभो ददाति श्वसतां पदं यन्नियमाददः । लोकं स्वदेहं तनुते महान्सप्तभिरावृतम् ॥ ३-२९-४३ ॥
Subject to the control of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the sky allows outer space to accommodate all the various planets, which hold innumerable living entities. The total universal body expands with its seven coverings under His supreme control. ॥ 3-29-43 ॥

भगवान् के ही नियन्त्रण में अन्तरक्षि में आकाश सारे लोकों को स्थान देता है जिनमें असंख्य जीव रहते हैं। उन्हीं के नियन्त्रण में ही सकल विराट शरीर अपने सातों कोशों सहित विस्तार करता है। ॥ ३-२९-४३ ॥

गुणाभिमानिनो देवाः सर्गादिष्वस्य यद्भयात् । वर्तन्तेऽनुयुगं येषां वश एतच्चराचरम् ॥ ३-२९-४४ ॥
Out of fear of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the directing demigods in charge of the modes of material nature carry out the functions of creation, maintenance and destruction; everything animate and inanimate within this material world is under their control. ॥ 3-29-44 ॥

भगवान् के भय से ही प्रकृति के गुणों के अधिष्ठाता देवता सृष्टि, पालन तथा संहार का कार्य करते हैं। इस भौतिक जगत की प्रत्येक निर्जीव तथा सजीव वस्तु उनके ही अधीन है। ॥ ३-२९-४४ ॥

सोऽनन्तोऽन्तकरः कालोऽनादिरादिकृदव्ययः । जनं जनेन जनयन् मारयन् मृत्युनान्तकम् ॥ ३-२९-४५ ॥
The eternal time factor has no beginning and no end. It is the representative of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the maker of the criminal world. It brings about the end of the phenomenal world, it carries on the work of creation by bringing one individual into existence from another, and likewise it dissolves the universe by destroying even the lord of death, Yamarāja. ॥ 3-29-45 ॥

शाश्वत काल खण्ड का न आदि है और न अन्त। वह इस पातकी संसार के स्त्रष्टा भगवान् का प्रतिनिधि है। वह दृश्य जगत का अन्त कर देता है, एक को मार कर दूसरे को जन्म देता है और इसका सृजन कार्य करता है। इसी तरह मृत्यु के स्वामी यम को भी नष्ट करके ब्रह्माण्ड का विलय कर देता है। ॥ ३-२९-४५ ॥
