मद्गुणश्रुतिमात्रेण मयि सर्वगुहाशये । मनोगतिरविच्छिन्ना यथा गङ्गाम्भसोऽम्बुधौ ॥ ३-२९-११ ॥
The manifestation of unadulterated devotional service is exhibited when one’s mind is at once attracted to hearing the transcendental name and qualities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is residing in everyone’s heart. ॥ 3-29-11 ॥

जब मनुष्य का मन प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के हृदय के भीतर वास करने वाले भगवान् के दिव्य नाम तथा गुणों के श्रवण की ओर तुरन्त आकृष्ट हो जाता है, तो निर्गुण भक्ति का प्राकट्य होता है। ॥ ३-२९-११ ॥

लक्षणं भक्तियोगस्य निर्गुणस्य ह्युदाहृतम् । अहैतुक्यव्यवहिता या भक्तिः पुरुषोत्तमे ॥ ३-२९-१२ ॥
Just as the water of the Ganges flows naturally down towards the ocean, such devotional ecstasy, uninterrupted by any material condition, flows towards the Supreme Lord. ॥ 3-29-12 ॥

जिस प्रकार गंगा का पानी स्वभावतः समुद्र की ओर बहता है, उसी प्रकार ऐसा भक्तिमय आह्लाद बिना रोक-टोक के परमेश्वर की ओर प्रवाहित होता है। ॥ ३-२९-१२ ॥

सालोक्यसार्ष्टिसामीप्यसारूप्यैकत्वमप्युत । दीयमानं न गृह्णन्ति विना मत्सेवनं जनाः ॥ ३-२९-१३ ॥
A pure devotee does not accept any kind of liberation — sālokya, sārṣṭi, sāmīpya, sārūpya or ekatva — even though they are offered by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. ॥ 3-29-13 ॥

शुद्ध भक्त सालोक्य, सार्ष्टि, सामीप्य, सारूप्य या एकत्व में से किसी प्रकार का मोक्ष स्वीकार नहीं करते, भले ही ये भगवान् द्वारा क्यों न दिये जा रहे हों । ॥ ३-२९-१३ ॥

स एव भक्तियोगाख्य आत्यन्तिक उदाहृतः । येनातिव्रज्य त्रिगुणं मद्भावायोपपद्यते ॥ ३-२९-१४ ॥
By attaining the highest platform of devotional service, as I have explained, one can overcome the influence of the three modes of material nature and be situated in the transcendental stage, as is the Lord. ॥ 3-29-14 ॥

जैसा कि मैं बता चुका हूँ, भक्ति का उच्च पद प्राप्त करके मनुष्य प्रकृति के तीनों गुणों के प्रभाव को लाँघ सकता है और दिव्य पद पर स्थित हो सकता है, जिस तरह भगवान् हैं। ॥ ३-२९-१४ ॥

निषेवितेनानिमित्तेन स्वधर्मेण महीयसा । क्रियायोगेन शस्तेन नातिहिंस्रेण नित्यशः ॥ ३-२९-१५ ॥
A devotee must execute his prescribed duties, which are glorious, without material profit. Without excessive violence, one should regularly perform one’s devotional activities. ॥ 3-29-15 ॥

भक्त को अपने नियत कार्यों को सम्पन्न करना चाहिए, जो यशस्वी हों और बिना किसी भौतिक लाभ के हों। उसे अधिक हिंसा किये बिना अपने भक्ति कार्य नियमित रूप से करने चाहिए । ॥ ३-२९-१५ ॥
