निर्बिभेद विराजस्त्वग्रोमश्मश्र्वादयस्ततः । तत ओषधयश्चासन् शिश्नं निर्बिभिदे ततः ॥ ३-२६-५६ ॥

sanskrit

Then the universal form of the Lord, the virāṭ-puruṣa, manifested His skin, and thereupon the hair, mustache and beard appeared. After this all the herbs and drugs became manifested, and then His genitals also appeared. ॥ 3-26-56 ॥

english translation

तब भगवान् के विराट रूप, विराट पुरुष ने अपनी त्वचा प्रकट की और उस पर बाल (रोम), मूँछ तथा दाढ़ी निकल आये। तत्पश्चात् सारी जड़ी-बूटियाँ प्रकट हुईं और तब जननेन्द्रियाँ भी प्रकट हुई। ॥ ३-२६-५६ ॥
