एष आत्मपथोऽव्यक्तो नष्टः कालेन भूयसा । तं प्रवर्तयितुं देहमिमं विद्धि मया भृतम् ॥ ३-२४-३७ ॥

This path of self-realization, which is difficult to understand, has now been lost in the course of time. Please know that I have assumed this body of Kapila to introduce and explain this philosophy to human society again. ॥ 3-24-37 ॥

आत्म-साक्षात्कार का यह मार्ग, जिसको समझ पाना दुष्कर है, अब कालक्रम से लुप्त हो गया है। इस दर्शन को पुन: मानव समाज में प्रवर्तित करने और व्याख्या करने के लिए ही मैंने कपिल का यह शरीर धारण किया है—ऐसा जानो। ॥ ३-२४-३७ ॥
