नैकत्र ते जयति शालिनि पादपद्मं घ्नन्त्या मुहुः करतलेन पतत्पतङ्गम् । मध्यं विषीदति बृहत्स्तनभारभीतं शान्तेव दृष्टिरमला सुशिखासमूहः ।। ३-२०-३६ ।।

sanskrit

O beautiful woman, when you strike the bouncing ball against the ground with your hand again and again, your lotus feet do not stay in one place. Oppressed by the weight of your full-grown breasts, your waist becomes fatigued, and your clear vision grows dull, as it were. Pray braid your comely hair. ।। 3-20-36 ।।

english translation

हे सुन्दरी, जब तुम धरती से उछलती गेंद को अपने हाथों से बार-बार मारती हो तो तुम्हारे चरण-कमल एक स्थान पर नहीं रुके रहते। तुम्हारे पूर्ण विकसित स्तनों के भार से पीडि़त तुम्हारी कमर थक जाती है और स्वच्छ दृष्टि मन्द पड़ जाती है। कृपया अपने सुन्दर बालों को ठीक से गूँथ तो लो। ।। ३-२०-३६ ।।
