दुर्भगो बत लोकोऽयं यदवो नितरामपि । ये संवसन्तो न विदुर्हरिं मीना इवोडुपम् ।। ३-२-८ ।।

sanskrit

This universe with all its planets is most unfortunate. And even more unfortunate are the members of the Yadu dynasty because they could not identify Lord Hari as the Personality of Godhead, any more than the fish could identify the moon. ।। 3-2-8 ।।

english translation

समस्त लोकों समेत यह ब्रह्माण्ड अत्यन्त अभागा है। युदुकुल के सदस्य तो उनसे भी बढक़र अभागे हैं, क्योंकि वे श्री हरि को भगवान् के रूप में नहीं पहचान पाये जिस तरह मछलियाँ चन्द्रमा को नहीं पहचान पातीं। ।। ३-२-८ ।।
