तद्विश्वगुर्वधिकृतं भुवनैकवन्द्यं दिव्यं विचित्रविबुधाग्र्यविमानशोचिः । आपुः परां मुदमपूर्वमुपेत्य योगमायाबलेन मुनयस्तदथो विकुण्ठम् ॥ ३-१५-२६ ॥
Thus the great sages Sanaka, Sanātana, Sanandana and Sanat-kumāra, upon reaching the above-mentioned Vaikuṇṭha in the spiritual world by dint of their mystic yoga performance, perceived unprecedented happiness. They found that the spiritual sky was illuminated by highly decorated airplanes piloted by the best devotees of Vaikuṇṭha and was predominated by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. ॥ 3-15-26 ॥

इस तरह सनक, सनातन, सनन्दन तथा सनत्कुमार नामक महर्षियों ने अपने योग बल से आध्यात्मिक जगत के उपर्युक्त वैकुण्ठ में पहुँच कर अभूतपूर्व सुख का अनुभव किया। उन्होंने पाया कि आध्यात्मिक आकाश अत्यधिक अलंकृत विमानों से, जो वैकुण्ठ के सर्वश्रेष्ठ भक्तों द्वारा चालित थे, प्रकाशमान था और पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् द्वारा अधिशासित था। ॥ ३-१५-२६ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्मिन्नतीत्य मुनयः षडसज्जमानाः कक्षाः समानवयसावथ सप्तमायाम् । देवावचक्षत गृहीतगदौ परार्ध्यकेयूरकुण्डलकिरीटविटङ्कवेषौ ॥ ३-१५-२७ ॥
After passing through the six entrances of Vaikuṇṭha-purī, the Lord’s residence, without feeling astonishment at all the decorations, they saw at the seventh gate two shining beings of the same age, armed with maces and adorned with most valuable jewelry, earrings, diamonds, helmets, garments, etc. ॥ 3-15-27 ॥

भगवान् के आवास वैकुण्ठपुरी के छ: द्वारों को पार करने के बाद और सजावट से तनिक भी आश्चर्यचकित हुए बिना, उन्होंने सातवें द्वार पर एक ही आयु के दो चमचमाते प्राणियों को देखा जो गदाएँ लिए हुए थे और अत्यन्त मूल्यवान आभूषणों, कुण्डलों, हीरों, मुकुटों, वस्त्रों इत्यादि से अलंकृत थे। ॥ ३-१५-२७ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptमत्तद्विरेफवनमालिकया निवीतौ विन्यस्तयासितचतुष्टयबाहुमध्ये । वक्त्रं भ्रुवा कुटिलया स्फुटनिर्गमाभ्यां रक्तेक्षणेन च मनाग्रभसं दधानौ ॥ ३-१५-२८ ॥
The two doormen were garlanded with fresh flowers which attracted intoxicated bees and which were placed around their necks and between their four blue arms. From their arched eyebrows, discontented nostrils and reddish eyes, they appeared somewhat agitated. ॥ 3-15-28 ॥

दोनों द्वारपाल ताजे फूलों की माला पहने थे, जो मदोन्मत्त भौंरों को आकृष्ट कर रही थीं और उनके गले के चारों ओर तथा उनकी चार नीली बाहों के बीच में पड़ी हुई थीं। अपनी कुटिल भौहों, अतृप्त नथनों तथा लाल लाल आँखों से वे कुछ कुछ क्षुब्ध प्रतीत हो रहे थे। ॥ ३-१५-२८ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptद्वार्येतयोर्निविविशुर्मिषतोरपृष्ट्वा पूर्वा यथा पुरटवज्रकपाटिका याः । सर्वत्र तेऽविषमया मुनयः स्वदृष्ट्या ये सञ्चरन्त्यविहता विगताभिशङ्काः ॥ ३-१५-२९ ॥
The great sages, headed by Sanaka, had opened doors everywhere. They had no idea of “ours” and “theirs.” With open minds, they entered the seventh door out of their own will, just as they had passed through the six other doors, which were made of gold and diamonds. ॥ 3-15-29 ॥

सनक इत्यादि मुनियों ने सभी जगहों के दरवाजों को खोला। उन्हें अपने पराये का कोई विचार नहीं था। उन्होंने खुले मन से स्वेच्छा से उसी तरह सातवें द्वार में प्रवेश किया जिस तरह वे अन्य छह दरवाजों से होकर आये थे, जो सोने तथा हीरों से बने हुए थे। ॥ ३-१५-२९ ॥

dvAryetayornivivizurmiSatorapRSTvA pUrvA yathA puraTavajrakapATikA yAH । sarvatra te'viSamayA munayaH svadRSTyA ye saJcarantyavihatA vigatAbhizaGkAH ॥ 3-15-29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतान् वीक्ष्य वातरशनांश्चतुरः कुमारान् वृद्धान् दशार्धवयसो विदितात्मतत्त्वान् । वेत्रेण चास्खलयतामतदर्हणांस्तौ तेजो विहस्य भगवत्प्रतिकूलशीलौ ॥ ३-१५-३० ॥
The four boy-sages, who had nothing to cover their bodies but the atmosphere, looked only five years old, even though they were the oldest of all living creatures and had realized the truth of the self. But when the porters, who happened to possess a disposition quite unpalatable to the Lord, saw the sages, they blocked their way with their staffs, despising their glories, although the sages did not deserve such treatment at their hands. ॥ 3-15-30 ॥

चारों बालक मुनि, जिनके पास अपने शरीरों को ढकने के लिए वायुमण्डल के अतिरिक्त कुछ नहीं था, पाँच वर्ष की आयु के लग रहे थे यद्यपि वे समस्त जीवों में सबसे वृद्ध थे और उन्होंने आत्मा के सत्य की अनुभूति प्राप्त कर ली थी। किन्तु जब द्वारपालों ने, जिनके स्वभाव भगवान् को तनिक भी रुचिकर न थे, इन मुनियों को देखा तो उन्होंने उनके यश का उपहास करते हुए अपने डंडों से उनका रास्ता रोक दिया, यद्यपि ये मुनि उनके हाथों ऐसा बर्ताव पाने के योग्य न थे। ॥ ३-१५-३० ॥
