मैत्रेय उवाच स प्रहस्य महाबाहो भगवान् शब्दगोचरः । प्रत्याचष्टात्मभूर्देवान् प्रीणन् रुचिरया गिरा ।। ३-१५-११ ।।

sanskrit

Śrī Maitreya said: Thus Lord Brahmā, who is understood by transcendental vibration, tried to satisfy the demigods, being pleased with their words of prayer. ।। 3-15-11 ।।

english translation

श्रीमैत्रेय ने कहा : इस तरह दिव्य ध्वनि से समझे जाने वाले ब्रह्मा ने देवताओं की स्तुतियों से प्रसन्न होकर उन्हें तुष्ट करने का प्रयास किया। ।। ३-१५-११ ।।

ब्रह्मोवाच मानसा मे सुता युष्मत्पूर्वजाः सनकादयः । चेरुर्विहायसा लोकाल्लोकेषु विगतस्पृहाः ।। ३-१५-१२ ।।

sanskrit

Lord Brahmā said: My four sons Sanaka, Sanātana, Sanandana and Sanat-kumāra, who were born from my mind, are your predecessors. Sometimes they travel throughout the material and spiritual skies without any definite desire. ।। 3-15-12 ।।

english translation

ब्रह्माजी ने कहा : मेरे मन से उत्पन्न चार पुत्र सनक, सनातन, सनन्दन तथा सनत्कुमार तुम्हारे पूर्वज हैं। कभी कभी वे बिना किसी विशेष इच्छा के भौतिक तथा आध्यात्मिक आकाशों से होकर यात्रा करते हैं। ।। ३-१५-१२ ।।

त एकदा भगवतो वैकुण्ठस्यामलात्मनः । ययुर्वैकुण्ठनिलयं सर्वलोकनमस्कृतम् ।। ३-१५-१३ ।।

sanskrit

After thus traveling all over the universes, they also entered into the spiritual sky, for they were freed from all material contamination. In the spiritual sky there are spiritual planets known as Vaikuṇṭhas, which are the residence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and His pure devotees and are worshiped by the residents of all the material planets. ।। 3-15-13 ।।

english translation

इस तरह सारे ब्रह्माण्डों का भ्रमण करने के बाद वे आध्यात्मिक आकाश में भी प्रविष्ट हुए, क्योंकि वे समस्त भौतिक कल्मष से मुक्त थे। आध्यात्मिक आकाश में अनेक आध्यात्मिक लोक हैं, जो वैकुण्ठ कहलाते हैं, जो पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् तथा उनके शुद्धभक्तों के निवास-स्थान हैं और समस्त भौतिक लोकों के निवासियों द्वारा पूजे जाते हैं। ।। ३-१५-१३ ।।

वसन्ति यत्र पुरुषाः सर्वे वैकुण्ठमूर्तयः । येऽनिमित्तनिमित्तेन धर्मेणाराधयन् हरिम् ।। ३-१५-१४ ।।

In the Vaikuṇṭha planets all the residents are similar in form to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. They all engage in devotional service to the Lord without desires for sense gratification. ।। 3-15-14 ।।

english translation

वैकुण्ठ लोकों में सारे निवासी पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् के समान आकृतिवाले होते हैं। वे सभी इन्द्रिय-तृप्ति की इच्छाओं से रहित होकर भगवान् की भक्ति में लगे रहते हैं। ।। ३-१५-१४ ।।

vasanti yatra puruSAH sarve vaikuNThamUrtayaH | ye'nimittanimittena dharmeNArAdhayan harim || 3-15-14 ||

यत्र चाद्यः पुमानास्ते भगवान् शब्दगोचरः । सत्त्वं विष्टभ्य विरजं स्वानां नो मृडयन् वृषः ।। ३-१५-१५ ।।

In the Vaikuṇṭha planets is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is the original person and who can be understood through the Vedic literature. He is full of the uncontaminated mode of goodness, with no place for passion or ignorance. He contributes religious progress for the devotees. ।। 3-15-15 ।।

english translation

वैकुण्ठलोकों में भगवान् रहते हैं, जो आदि पुरुष हैं और जिन्हें वैदिक वाङ्मय के माध्यम से समझा जा सकता है। वे कल्मषरहित सतोगुण से ओतप्रोत हैं, जिसमें रजो या तमो गुणों के लिए कोई स्थान नहीं है। वे भक्तों की धार्मिक प्रगति में योगदान करते हैं। ।। ३-१५-१५ ।।
