इति तस्य वचः पाद्मो भगवान् परिपालयन् । अभ्यधाद्भद्रया वाचा मा रोदीस्तत्करोमि ते ॥ ३-१२-९ ॥
The all-powerful Brahmā, who was born from the lotus flower, pacified the boy with gentle words, accepting his request, and said: Do not cry. I shall certainly do as you desire. ॥ 3-12-9 ॥
english translation
कमल के फूल से उत्पन्न हुए सर्वशक्तिमान ब्रह्मा ने उसकी याचना स्वीकार करते हुए मृदु वाणी से उस बालक को शान्त किया और कहा—मत चिल्लाओ। जैसा तुम चाहोगे मैं वैसा ही करूँगा। ॥ ३-१२-९ ॥
