एवं विधैरहोरात्रैः कालगत्योपलक्षितैः । अपक्षितमिवास्यापि परमायुर्वयः शतम् ॥ ३-११-३२ ॥
Thus the process of the exhaustion of the duration of life exists for every one of the living beings, including Lord Brahmā. One’s life endures for only one hundred years, in terms of the times in the different planets. ॥ 3-11-32 ॥

इस तरह ब्रह्माजी समेत प्रत्येक जीव के लिए आयु की अवधि के क्षय की विधि विद्यमान रहती है। विभिन्न लोकों में काल के सन्दर्भ में हर किसी जीव की आयु केवल एक सौ वर्ष तक होती है। ॥ ३-११-३२ ॥
