कलौ काकिणिकेऽप्यर्थे विगृह्य त्यक्तसौहृदाः । त्यक्ष्यन्ति च प्रियान् प्राणान् हनिष्यन्ति स्वकानपि ।। १२-३-४१ ।।
In Kali-yuga men will develop hatred for each other even over a few coins. Giving up all friendly relations, they will be ready to lose their own lives and kill even their own relatives. ।। 12-3-41 ।।

कलियुग में मनुष्य कुछ सिक्कों को लेकर भी एक-दूसरे के प्रति घृणा विकसित कर लेंगे। वे सभी मैत्रीपूर्ण संबंधों को त्यागकर अपनी जान गंवाने और यहां तक कि अपने रिश्तेदारों को भी मारने के लिए तैयार हो जाएंगे। ।। १२-३-४१ ।।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptन रक्षिष्यन्ति मनुजाः स्थविरौ पितरावपि । पुत्रान् सर्वार्थकुशलान् क्षुद्राः शिश्नोदरम्भराः ।। १२-३-४२ ।।
Men will no longer protect their elderly parents, their children or their respectable wives. Thoroughly degraded, they will care only to satisfy their own bellies and genitals. ।। 12-3-42 ।।

पुरुष अब अपने बुजुर्ग माता-पिता, अपने बच्चों या अपनी सम्मानित पत्नियों की रक्षा नहीं करेंगे। पूरी तरह से अपमानित होकर, वे केवल अपने पेट और जननांगों को संतुष्ट करने की परवाह करेंगे। ।। १२-३-४२ ।।

O King, in the Age of Kali people’s intelligence will be diverted by atheism, and they will almost never offer sacrifice to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is the supreme spiritual master of the universe. Although the great personalities who control the three worlds all bow down to the lotus feet of the Supreme Lord, the petty and miserable human beings of this age will not do so. ।। 12-3-43 ।।

हे राजा, कलियुग में लोगों की बुद्धि नास्तिकता से विचलित हो जाएगी, और वे लगभग कभी भी भगवान के परम व्यक्तित्व, जो ब्रह्मांड के सर्वोच्च आध्यात्मिक गुरु हैं, को बलिदान नहीं देंगे। यद्यपि तीनों लोकों को नियंत्रित करने वाले महान व्यक्तित्व परम भगवान के कमल चरणों में झुकते हैं, लेकिन इस युग के क्षुद्र और दुखी मनुष्य ऐसा नहीं करेंगे। ।। १२-३-४३ ।।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptयन्नामधेयं म्रियमाण आतुरः पतन् स्खलन् वा विवशो गृणन् पुमान् । विमुक्तकर्मार्गल उत्तमां गतिं प्राप्नोति यक्ष्यन्ति न तं कलौ जनाः ।। १२-३-४४ ।।
Terrified, about to die, a man collapses on his bed. Although his voice is faltering and he is hardly conscious of what he is saying, if he utters the holy name of the Supreme Lord he can be freed from the reaction of his fruitive work and achieve the supreme destination. But still people in the Age of Kali will not worship the Supreme Lord. ।। 12-3-44 ।।

भयभीत होकर, मरने के करीब, एक आदमी अपने बिस्तर पर गिर पड़ा। हालाँकि उसकी आवाज़ लड़खड़ा रही है और उसे शायद ही पता चल रहा है कि वह क्या कह रहा है, अगर वह सर्वोच्च भगवान के पवित्र नाम का उच्चारण करता है तो वह अपने सकाम कर्म की प्रतिक्रिया से मुक्त हो सकता है और सर्वोच्च गंतव्य प्राप्त कर सकता है। लेकिन फिर भी कलियुग में लोग परमेश्वर की पूजा नहीं करेंगे। ।। १२-३-४४ ।।

yannAmadheyaM mriyamANa AturaH patan skhalan vA vivazo gRNan pumAn | vimuktakarmArgala uttamAM gatiM prApnoti yakSyanti na taM kalau janAH || 12-3-44 ||
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपुंसां कलिकृतान् दोषान् द्रव्यदेशात्मसम्भवान् । सर्वान् हरति चित्तस्थो भगवान् पुरुषोत्तमः ।। १२-३-४५ ।।
In the Kali-yuga, objects, places and even individual personalities are all polluted. The almighty Personality of Godhead, however, can remove all such contamination from the life of one who fixes the Lord within his mind. ।। 12-3-45 ।।

कलियुग में वस्तुएँ, स्थान और यहाँ तक कि व्यक्तिगत व्यक्तित्व भी प्रदूषित हैं। हालाँकि, भगवान का सर्वशक्तिमान व्यक्तित्व उस व्यक्ति के जीवन से ऐसे सभी प्रदूषण को दूर कर सकता है जो भगवान को अपने मन में स्थापित करता है। ।। १२-३-४५ ।।
