तदद्भिर्देवयजनं द्रव्याण्यात्मानमेव च । प्रोक्ष्य पात्राणि त्रीण्यद्भिस्तैस्तैर्द्रव्यैश्च साधयेत् ।। ११-२७-२१ ।।

sanskrit

Then, with the water of that prokṣaṇīya vessel he should sprinkle the area where the Deity is being worshiped, the offerings that are going to be presented, and his own body. Next he should decorate with various auspicious substances three vessels filled with water. ।। 11-27-21 ।।

english translation

फिर, उस प्रोक्षणीय पात्र के जल से उसे उस क्षेत्र पर जहां देवता की पूजा की जा रही है, जो प्रसाद चढ़ाया जाना है, और अपने शरीर पर छिड़कना चाहिए। इसके बाद उसे जल से भरे तीन पात्रों को विभिन्न शुभ द्रव्यों से सजाना चाहिए। ।। ११-२७-२१ ।।

पाद्यार्घ्याचमनीयार्थं त्रीणि पात्राणि दैशिकः । हृदा शीर्ष्णाथ शिखया गायत्र्या चाभिमन्त्रयेत् ।। ११-२७-२२ ।।

The worshiper should then purify those three vessels. He should sanctify the vessel holding water for washing the Lord’s feet by chanting hṛdayāya namaḥ, the vessel containing water for arghya by chanting śirase svāhā, and the vessel containing water for washing the Lord’s mouth by chanting śikhāyai vaṣaṭ. Also, the Gāyatrī mantra should be chanted for all three vessels. ।। 11-27-22 ।।

english translation

फिर उपासक को उन तीन पात्रों को शुद्ध करना चाहिए। उसे भगवान के पैर धोने के लिए पानी वाले बर्तन को हृदयाय नम: मंत्र का जाप करके, अर्घ्य देने वाले पानी वाले बर्तन को शिरासे स्वाहा मंत्र का जाप करके और भगवान के मुंह को धोने के लिए पानी वाले बर्तन को शिखायै वषट मंत्र का जाप करके पवित्र करना चाहिए। साथ ही तीनों पात्रों के लिए गायत्री मंत्र का जाप करना चाहिए। ।। ११-२७-२२ ।।

पिण्डे वाय्वग्निसंशुद्धे हृत्पद्मस्थां परां मम । अण्वीं जीवकलां ध्यायेन्नादान्ते सिद्धभाविताम् ।। ११-२७-२३ ।।

sanskrit

The worshiper should meditate upon My subtle form — which is situated within the worshiper’s own body, now purified by air and fire — as the source of all living entities. This form of the Lord is experienced by self-realized sages in the last part of the vibration of the sacred syllable om. ।। 11-27-23 ।।

english translation

उपासक को मेरे सूक्ष्म रूप का ध्यान करना चाहिए - जो उपासक के अपने शरीर के भीतर स्थित है, जो अब वायु और अग्नि द्वारा शुद्ध है - सभी जीवित प्राणियों के स्रोत के रूप में। भगवान के इस रूप का अनुभव आत्म-साक्षात्कारी संतों द्वारा पवित्र शब्दांश ओम के कंपन के अंतिम भाग में किया जाता है। ।। ११-२७-२३ ।।

तयाऽऽत्मभूतया पिण्डे व्याप्ते सम्पूज्य तन्मयः । आवाह्यार्चादिषु स्थाप्य न्यस्ताङ्गं मां प्रपूजयेत् ।। ११-२७-२४ ।।

sanskrit

The devotee conceives of the Supersoul, whose presence surcharges the devotee’s body, in the form corresponding to his realization. Thus the devotee worships the Lord to his full capacity and becomes fully absorbed in Him. By touching the various limbs of the Deity and chanting appropriate mantras, the devotee should invite the Supersoul to join the Deity’s form, and then the devotee should worship Me. ।। 11-27-24 ।।

english translation

भक्त परमात्मा की कल्पना करता है, जिसकी उपस्थिति उसकी अनुभूति के अनुरूप रूप में भक्त के शरीर को अधिभारित करती है। इस प्रकार भक्त अपनी पूरी क्षमता से भगवान की पूजा करता है और उनमें पूरी तरह से लीन हो जाता है। देवता के विभिन्न अंगों को छूकर और उचित मंत्रों का जाप करके, भक्त को परमात्मा को देवता के रूप में शामिल होने के लिए आमंत्रित करना चाहिए, और फिर भक्त को मेरी पूजा करनी चाहिए। ।। ११-२७-२४ ।।

पाद्योपस्पर्शार्हणादीनुपचारान् प्रकल्पयेत् । धर्मादिभिश्च नवभिः कल्पयित्वाऽऽसनं मम ।। ११-२७-२५ ।।

sanskrit

The worshiper should first imagine My seat as decorated with the personified deities of religion, knowledge, renunciation and opulence and with My nine spiritual energies. He should think of the Lord’s sitting place as an eight-petaled lotus, effulgent on account of the saffron filaments within its whorl. ।। 11-27-25 ।।

english translation

उपासक को सबसे पहले मेरे आसन की कल्पना करनी चाहिए जो धर्म, ज्ञान, त्याग और ऐश्वर्य के साक्षात देवताओं और मेरी नौ आध्यात्मिक शक्तियों से सुशोभित है। उसे भगवान के बैठने के स्थान को आठ पंखुड़ियों वाले कमल के रूप में सोचना चाहिए, जो उसके घेरे में केसर तंतुओं के कारण दीप्तिमान है। ।। ११-२७-२५ ।।
