विराण्मयासाद्यमानो लोककल्पविकल्पकः । पञ्चत्वाय विशेषाय कल्पते भुवनैः सह ।। ११-२४-२१ ।।

sanskrit

I am the basis of the universal form, which displays endless variety through the repeated creation, maintenance and destruction of the planetary systems. Originally containing within itself all planets in their dormant state, My universal form manifests the varieties of created existence by arranging the coordinated combination of the five elements. ।। 11-24-21 ।।

english translation

मैं सार्वभौमिक स्वरूप का आधार हूं, जो ग्रह प्रणालियों के बार-बार निर्माण, रखरखाव और विनाश के माध्यम से अनंत विविधता प्रदर्शित करता है। मूल रूप से अपने भीतर सभी ग्रहों को सुप्त अवस्था में समाहित करने वाला, मेरा सार्वभौमिक रूप पांच तत्वों के समन्वित संयोजन को व्यवस्थित करके निर्मित अस्तित्व की किस्मों को प्रकट करता है। ।। ११-२४-२१ ।।

अन्ने प्रलीयते मर्त्यमन्नं धानासु लीयते । धाना भूमौ प्रलीयन्ते भूमिर्गन्धे प्रलीयते ।। ११-२४-२२ ।।

sanskrit

At the time of annihilation, the mortal body of the living being becomes merged into food. Food merges into the grains, and the grains merge back into the earth. ।। 11-24-22 ।।

english translation

प्रलय के समय जीव का नश्वर शरीर भोजन में विलीन हो जाता है। अन्न अनाज में मिल जाता है और अनाज वापस धरती में समा जाता है। ।। ११-२४-२२ ।।

अप्सु प्रलीयते गन्ध आपश्च स्वगुणे रसे । लीयते ज्योतिषि रसो ज्योती रूपे प्रलीयते ।। ११-२४-२३ ।।

The earth merges into its subtle sensation, fragrance. Fragrance merges into water, and water further merges into its own quality, taste. That taste merges into fire, which merges into form. ।। 11-24-23 ।।

english translation

पृथ्वी अपनी सूक्ष्म अनुभूति, सुगंध में विलीन हो जाती है। सुगंध जल में विलीन हो जाती है और जल अपने गुण, स्वाद में विलीन हो जाता है। वह स्वाद अग्नि में विलीन हो जाता है, जो रूप में विलीन हो जाता है। ।। ११-२४-२३ ।।

रूपं वायौ स च स्पर्शे लीयते सोऽपि चाम्बरे । अम्बरं शब्दतन्मात्र इन्द्रियाणि स्वयोनिषु ।। ११-२४-२४ ।।

Form merges into touch, and touch merges into ether. Ether finally merges into the sensation of sound. The senses all merge into their own origins, the presiding demigods, ।। 11-24-24 ।।

english translation

रूप स्पर्श में विलीन हो जाता है और स्पर्श आकाश में विलीन हो जाता है। ईथर अंततः ध्वनि की अनुभूति में विलीन हो जाता है। सभी इंद्रियाँ अपने-अपने मूल में, अधिष्ठाता देवताओं में विलीन हो जाती हैं, ।। ११-२४-२४ ।।

योनिर्वैकारिके सौम्य लीयते मनसीश्वरे । शब्दो भूतादिमप्येति भूतादिर्महति प्रभुः ।। ११-२४-२५ ।।

sanskrit

and they, O gentle Uddhava, merge into the controlling mind, which itself merges into false ego in the mode of goodness. Sound becomes one with false ego in the mode of ignorance, and all-powerful false ego, the first of all the physical elements, merges into the total nature. ।। 11-24-25 ।।

english translation

और वे, हे सौम्य उद्धव, नियंत्रक मन में विलीन हो जाते हैं, जो स्वयं सत्वगुण में मिथ्या अहंकार में विलीन हो जाता है। ध्वनि तमोगुण में मिथ्या अहंकार के साथ एक हो जाती है, और सर्वशक्तिमान मिथ्या अहंकार, सभी भौतिक तत्वों में से पहला, कुल प्रकृति में विलीन हो जाता है। ।। ११-२४-२५ ।।
