तच्चूर्णयित्वा मुसलं यदुराजः स आहुकः । समुद्रसलिले प्रास्यल्लोहं चास्यावशेषितम् ॥ ११-१-२१ ॥

After having the club ground to bits, King Āhuka ॥ Ugrasena॥ of the Yadus personally threw the pieces, along with the remaining lump of iron, into the water of the ocean. ॥ 11-1-21 ॥

english translation

गदा के टुकड़े-टुकड़े हो जाने के बाद, यदुओं के राजा अहुक ॥ उग्रसेन॥ ने स्वयं लोहे की शेष गांठ सहित टुकड़ों को समुद्र के पानी में फेंक दिया। ॥ ११-१-२१ ॥

कश्चिन्मत्स्योऽग्रसील्लोहं चूर्णानि तरलैस्ततः । उह्यमानानि वेलायां लग्नान्यासन् किलैरकाः ॥ ११-१-२२ ॥

A certain fish swallowed the iron lump, and the bits of iron, carried back to the shore by the waves, implanted themselves there and grew into tall, sharp canes. ॥ 11-1-22 ॥

english translation

एक मछली ने लोहे की गांठ को निगल लिया, और लोहे के टुकड़े, लहरों द्वारा किनारे पर वापस ले आए, वहीं स्थापित हो गए और लंबे, नुकीले बेंत में बदल गए। ॥ ११-१-२२ ॥

मत्स्यो गृहीतो मत्स्यघ्नैर्जालेनान्यैः सहार्णवे । तस्योदरगतं लोहं स शल्ये लुब्धकोऽकरोत् ॥ ११-१-२३ ॥

The fish was caught in the ocean along with other fish in a fishermen’s net. The iron lump in the fish’s stomach was taken by the hunter Jarā, who fixed it as an arrowhead at the end of his shaft. ॥ 11-1-23 ॥

english translation

यह मछली समुद्र में अन्य मछलियों के साथ एक मछुआरे के जाल में फंस गई थी। मछली के पेट में लोहे की गांठ को शिकारी जारा ने ले लिया, जिसने इसे अपने तीर के अंत में तीर की नोक के रूप में स्थापित किया। ॥ ११-१-२३ ॥

भगवान् ज्ञातसर्वार्थ ईश्वरोऽपि तदन्यथा । कर्तुं नैच्छद्विप्रशापं कालरूप्यन्वमोदत ॥ ११-१-२४ ॥

Knowing fully the significance of all these events, the Supreme Lord, though capable of reversing the brāhmaṇas’ curse, did not wish to do so. Rather, in His form of time, He gladly sanctioned the events. ॥ 11-1-24 ॥

इन सभी घटनाओं के महत्व को पूरी तरह से जानते हुए, सर्वोच्च भगवान, हालांकि ब्राह्मणों के शाप को उलटने में सक्षम थे, लेकिन ऐसा नहीं करना चाहते थे। बल्कि, अपने समय के रूप में, उन्होंने ख़ुशी से घटनाओं को मंजूरी दे दी। ॥ ११-१-२४ ॥
