मत्स्यो गृहीतो मत्स्यघ्नैर्जालेनान्यैः सहार्णवे । तस्योदरगतं लोहं स शल्ये लुब्धकोऽकरोत् ॥ ११-१-२३ ॥
The fish was caught in the ocean along with other fish in a fishermen’s net. The iron lump in the fish’s stomach was taken by the hunter Jarā, who fixed it as an arrowhead at the end of his shaft. ॥ 11-1-23 ॥

यह मछली समुद्र में अन्य मछलियों के साथ एक मछुआरे के जाल में फंस गई थी। मछली के पेट में लोहे की गांठ को शिकारी जारा ने ले लिया, जिसने इसे अपने तीर के अंत में तीर की नोक के रूप में स्थापित किया। ॥ ११-१-२३ ॥
