श्रीशुक उवाच गोविन्दभुजगुप्तायां द्वारवत्यां कुरूद्वह । अवात्सीन्नारदोऽभीक्ष्णं कृष्णोपासनलालसः ॥ ११-२-१ ॥
Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Eager to engage in the worship of Lord Kṛṣṇa, O best of the Kurus, Nārada Muni stayed for some time in Dvārakā, which was always protected by the arms of Govinda. ॥ 11-2-1 ॥

श्री शुकदेव गोस्वामी ने कहा: हे कुरुश्रेष्ठ, भगवान कृष्ण की पूजा में संलग्न होने के लिए उत्सुक होकर, नारद मुनि कुछ समय के लिए द्वारका में रुके थे, जो हमेशा गोविंद की भुजाओं से सुरक्षित रहती थी। ॥ ११-२-१ ॥

My dear King, in the material world the conditioned souls are confronted by death at every step of life. Therefore, who among the conditioned souls would not render service to the lotus feet of Lord Mukunda, who is worshipable even for the greatest of liberated souls? ॥ 11-2-2 ॥

मेरे प्रिय राजा, भौतिक संसार में बद्ध आत्माओं को जीवन के हर कदम पर मृत्यु का सामना करना पड़ता है। इसलिए, बद्ध आत्माओं में से कौन भगवान मुकुंद के चरण कमलों की सेवा नहीं करेगा, जो सबसे बड़ी मुक्त आत्माओं के लिए भी पूजनीय हैं? ॥ ११-२-२ ॥

तमेकदा तु देवर्षिं वसुदेवो गृहागतम् । अर्चितं सुखमासीनमभिवाद्येदमब्रवीत् ॥ ११-२-३ ॥
One day the sage among the demigods, Nārada, came to the house of Vasudeva. After worshiping Nārada with suitable paraphernalia, seating him comfortably and respectfully bowing down to him, Vasudeva spoke as follows. ॥ 11-2-3 ॥

एक दिन देवताओं में ऋषि नारद वासुदेव के घर आये। उपयुक्त साज-सज्जा से नारद जी की पूजा करके, उन्हें आराम से बिठाकर और आदरपूर्वक उन्हें प्रणाम करके वासुदेव इस प्रकार बोले। ॥ ११-२-३ ॥

वसुदेव उवाच भगवन् भवतो यात्रा स्वस्तये सर्वदेहिनाम् । कृपणानां यथा पित्रोरुत्तमश्लोकवर्त्मनाम् ॥ ११-२-४ ॥
Śrī Vasudeva said: My lord, your visit, like that of a father to his children, is for the benefit of all living beings. You especially help the most wretched among them, as well as those who are advanced on the path toward the Supreme Lord, Uttamaśloka. ॥ 11-2-4 ॥

श्री वासुदेव ने कहा: हे प्रभु, एक पिता की अपने बच्चों के प्रति आपकी यात्रा, सभी जीवित प्राणियों के लाभ के लिए है। आप विशेष रूप से उनमें से सबसे अभागे लोगों की मदद करते हैं, साथ ही उन लोगों की भी मदद करते हैं जो परम भगवान, उत्तमश्लोक की ओर अग्रसर हैं। ॥ ११-२-४ ॥

The activities of demigods lead to both misery and happiness for living beings, but the activities of great saints like you, who have accepted the infallible Lord as their very soul, result only in the happiness of all beings. ॥ 11-2-5 ॥
