एवं प्रलब्धा मुनयस्तानूचुः कुपिता नृप । जनयिष्यति वो मन्दा मुसलं कुलनाशनम् ॥ ११-१-१६ ॥
Thus ridiculed by deceit, the sages became angry, O King, and told the boys, “Fools! She will bear you an iron club that will destroy your entire dynasty.” ॥ 11-1-16 ॥

इस प्रकार छल से उपहास करने पर, हे राजा, ऋषि क्रोधित हो गए, और लड़कों से कहा, “मूर्ख! वह तुम्हें एक लोहे की छड़ी देगी जो तुम्हारे पूरे वंश को नष्ट कर देगी। ॥ ११-१-१६ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptतच्छ्रुत्वा तेऽतिसन्त्रस्ता विमुच्य सहसोदरम् । साम्बस्य ददृशुस्तस्मिन् मुसलं खल्वयस्मयम् ॥ ११-१-१७ ॥
Upon hearing the curse of the sages, the terrified boys quickly uncovered the belly of Sāmba, and indeed they observed that therein was an iron club. ॥ 11-1-17 ॥

ऋषियों के श्राप को सुनकर, भयभीत लड़कों ने तुरंत सांबा के पेट को खोला, और वास्तव में उन्होंने देखा कि उसमें एक लोहे का क्लब था। ॥ ११-१-१७ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptकिं कृतं मन्दभाग्यैर्नः किं वदिष्यन्ति नो जनाः । इति विह्वलिता गेहानादाय मुसलं ययुः ॥ ११-१-१८ ॥
The young men of the Yadu dynasty said, “Oh, what have we done? We are so unfortunate! What will our family members say to us?” Speaking thus and being very disturbed, they returned to their homes, taking the club with them. ॥ 11-1-18 ॥

यदुवंश के नवयुवकों ने कहा, “ओह, हमने क्या किया है? हम कितने अभागे हैं! हमारे घरवाले हमें क्या कहेंगे?” इस प्रकार बोलते और अत्यन्त व्याकुल होते हुए वे गदा को साथ लेकर अपने-अपने घर लौट आये। ॥ ११-१-१८ ॥

The Yadu boys, the luster of their faces completely faded, brought the club into the royal assembly, and in the presence of all the Yādavas they told King Ugrasena what had happened. ॥ 11-1-19 ॥

यदु लड़के, जिनके चेहरे की चमक पूरी तरह से फीकी पड़ गई थी, गदा लेकर शाही सभा में आए और सभी यादवों की उपस्थिति में उन्होंने राजा उग्रसेन को बताया कि क्या हुआ था। ॥ ११-१-१९ ॥

O King Parīkṣit, when the inhabitants of Dvārakā heard of the infallible curse of the brāhmaṇas and saw the club, they were astonished and distraught with fear. ॥ 11-1-20 ॥

हे राजा परीक्षित, जब द्वारका के निवासियों ने ब्राह्मणों के अचूक श्राप के बारे में सुना और गदा देखी, तो वे आश्चर्यचकित हो गए और भय से व्याकुल हो गए। ॥ ११-१-२० ॥
