तत्रापश्यस्त्थितान्देवीं सखीभिः परिवारिताम्॥ वेदिकोपरि शुद्धान्तां शिवामिव विधोः कलाम् ॥ ११॥
There he saw the goddess Pārvatī, seated on the dais surrounded by her friends. She appeared like the pure digit of the moon.
english translation
शंभुर्निरीक्ष्य तान्देवीं ब्रह्मचारिस्वरूपवान्॥ उपकण्ठं ययौ प्रीत्या चोत्सुकी भक्तवत्सलः॥ १२॥
On seeing the goddess, Śiva who is favourably disposed to his devotees and who had assumed the form of a student-ascetic approached her eagerly and lovingly.

आगतं सा तदा दृष्ट्वा ब्राह्मणं तेजसाद्भुतम्॥ अंगेषु लोमशं शान्तं दण्डचर्मसमन्वितम् ॥ १३॥
Then she saw the wonderful brahmin arriving The limbs were hairy and quiet and covered with a rod leather.

ब्रह्मचर्य्यधरं वृद्धं जटिलं सकमण्डलुम्॥ अपूजयत्परप्रीत्या सर्वपूजोपहारकैः॥ १४॥
He was old in celibacy and had matted hair and a waterpot. He worshiped them with the love of others with offerings of all kinds of worship.

ततस्ता पार्वतीदेवी पूजितं परया मुदा ॥ कुशलं पर्यपृच्छत्तं ब्रह्मचारिणमादरात् ॥ १५॥
The goddess Pārvatī enquired after the health of that aged bachelor respectfully after worshipping him with great joy.
