These rendezvous occurred alternately in the enchanting gardens of Indra, the celestial city of Alaka belonging to Kuvera, and atop the northern peak of Mount Meru. As the righteous monarch observed the completion of a thousand years, he called upon his son Puru and spoke to him as follows:' ॥ 1-80-8 ॥
