    ज्योतिषश्च विकुर्वाणादापो रसगुणाः स्मृताः । अद्भ्यो गन्धगुणा भूमिरित्येषा सृष्टिरादितः ॥ ७८ ॥jyotiSazca vikurvANAdApo rasaguNAH smRtAH । adbhyo gandhaguNA bhUmirityeSA sRSTirAditaH ॥ 78 ॥And from light, modifying itself, (is produced) water, possessing the quality of taste, from water earth which has the quality of smell; such is the creation in the beginning.

    अधो निष्ठ्या वितस्त्यान्ते नाभ्याम् उपरि तिष्ठति । ज्वालामालाकुलं भाती विश्वस्यायतनं महत् ॥७॥adho niSThyA vitastyAnte nAbhyAm upari tiSThati । jvAlAmAlAkulaM bhAtI vizvasyAyatanaM mahat ॥7॥One hand below the throat, and above the navel (ie the heart) is the abode of the flame which burns like fire (ie the Supreme Soul resides in the heart in the form of a soul in the form of light).
