वृषा॑ य॒ज्ञो वृष॑णः सन्तु य॒ज्ञिया॒ वृष॑णो दे॒वा वृष॑णो हवि॒ष्कृत॑: । वृष॑णा॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी ऋ॒ताव॑री॒ वृषा॑ प॒र्जन्यो॒ वृष॑णो वृष॒स्तुभ॑: ॥ वृषा यज्ञो वृषणः सन्तु यज्ञिया वृषणो देवा वृषणो हविष्कृतः । वृषणा द्यावापृथिवी ऋतावरी वृषा पर्जन्यो वृषणो वृषस्तुभः ॥
May our sacrifice be the showerer (of benefits); may the gods who are worthy of sacrifice be theshowerers (of benefits); may the priest, may the presenters of the oblation, be the showerers (of benefits); mayheaven and earth receiving adoration be the showerers (of benefits); may Parjanya be the showerer (of rain);may those who praise (the gods) with showers be showerers.

अ॒ग्नीषोमा॒ वृष॑णा॒ वाज॑सातये पुरुप्रश॒स्ता वृष॑णा॒ उप॑ ब्रुवे । यावी॑जि॒रे वृष॑णो देवय॒ज्यया॒ ता न॒: शर्म॑ त्रि॒वरू॑थं॒ वि यं॑सतः ॥ अग्नीषोमा वृषणा वाजसातये पुरुप्रशस्ता वृषणा उप ब्रुवे । यावीजिरे वृषणो देवयज्यया ता नः शर्म त्रिवरूथं वि यंसतः ॥
I glorify for the obtaining of food the two showerers (of benefits), Agni and Soma, the many-laudedshowerers (of benefits), may these two whom the priests have worshipped with divine worship bestow upon us a triply-guarded dwelling.

धृ॒तव्र॑ताः क्ष॒त्रिया॑ यज्ञनि॒ष्कृतो॑ बृहद्दि॒वा अ॑ध्व॒राणा॑मभि॒श्रिय॑: । अ॒ग्निहो॑तार ऋत॒सापो॑ अ॒द्रुहो॒ऽपो अ॑सृज॒न्ननु॑ वृत्र॒तूर्ये॑ ॥ धृतव्रताः क्षत्रिया यज्ञनिष्कृतो बृहद्दिवा अध्वराणामभिश्रियः । अग्निहोतार ऋतसापो अद्रुहोऽपो असृजन्ननु वृत्रतूर्ये ॥
The (gods) observing obligations endowed with vigour, developers of sacrifice, possessed ofabundant brightness, the defenders of sacrifices, having Agni for their priest, enjoying truth, unassailable, setfree the waters at the combat with the Vṛtra.

द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी ज॑नयन्न॒भि व्र॒ताप॒ ओष॑धीर्व॒निना॑नि य॒ज्ञिया॑ । अ॒न्तरि॑क्षं॒ स्व१॒॑रा प॑प्रुरू॒तये॒ वशं॑ दे॒वास॑स्त॒न्वी॒३॒॑ नि मा॑मृजुः ॥ द्यावापृथिवी जनयन्नभि व्रताप ओषधीर्वनिनानि यज्ञिया । अन्तरिक्षं स्वरा पप्रुरूतये वशं देवासस्तन्वी नि मामृजुः ॥
The gods engendered the heaven and earth with their respective functions, the waters, the plural nts, thesacred trees; they filled the whole firmament (with lustre) for its protection; they graced the desirable (sacrifice) in their own persons.

ध॒र्तारो॑ दि॒व ऋ॒भव॑: सु॒हस्ता॑ वातापर्ज॒न्या म॑हि॒षस्य॑ तन्य॒तोः । आप॒ ओष॑धी॒: प्र ति॑रन्तु नो॒ गिरो॒ भगो॑ रा॒तिर्वा॒जिनो॑ यन्तु मे॒ हव॑म् ॥ धर्तारो दिव ऋभवः सुहस्ता वातापर्जन्या महिषस्य तन्यतोः । आप ओषधीः प्र तिरन्तु नो गिरो भगो रातिर्वाजिनो यन्तु मे हवम् ॥
May the upholders of the sky, the radiant with truth, the well-armed deities, Vāta and Parjanya, (theutterers) of the mighty thunder, the waters, the plural nts, amplify our praises; may the liberal Bhaga and Vājinscome to my invocation.
