तव॒ त्य इ॑न्द्र स॒ख्येषु॒ वह्न॑य ऋ॒तं म॑न्वा॒ना व्य॑दर्दिरुर्व॒लम् । यत्रा॑ दश॒स्यन्नु॒षसो॑ रि॒णन्न॒पः कुत्सा॑य॒ मन्म॑न्न॒ह्य॑श्च दं॒सय॑: ॥ तव त्य इन्द्र सख्येषु वह्नय ऋतं मन्वाना व्यदर्दिरुर्वलम् । यत्रा दशस्यन्नुषसो रिणन्नपः कुत्साय मन्मन्नह्यश्च दंसयः ॥
The bearers of oblations (the Aṅgirasas), Indra honouring the sacrifice, have through your friendshiptorn Vala to pieces, when praise (being offered) desiring to give the dawns to Kutsa (you were engaged in)freeing the waters, and Ahi's exploits (were foiled).

अवा॑सृजः प्र॒स्व॑: श्व॒ञ्चयो॑ गि॒रीनुदा॑ज उ॒स्रा अपि॑बो॒ मधु॑ प्रि॒यम् । अव॑र्धयो व॒निनो॑ अस्य॒ दंस॑सा शु॒शोच॒ सूर्य॑ ऋ॒तजा॑तया गि॒रा ॥ अवासृजः प्रस्वः श्वञ्चयो गिरीनुदाज उस्रा अपिबो मधु प्रियम् । अवर्धयो वनिनो अस्य दंससा शुशोच सूर्य ऋतजातया गिरा ॥
You have sent forth the genitive rative (waters), you have cleft the mountains, you have fetched forth thecows, you have quaffed the delicious Soma, you have caused the trees of the forest to grow; through his exploitsby means of the voice produced for the sacrifice the sun has shone bright.

वि सूर्यो॒ मध्ये॑ अमुच॒द्रथं॑ दि॒वो वि॒दद्दा॒साय॑ प्रति॒मान॒मार्य॑: । दृ॒ळ्हानि॒ पिप्रो॒रसु॑रस्य मा॒यिन॒ इन्द्रो॒ व्या॑स्यच्चकृ॒वाँ ऋ॒जिश्व॑ना ॥ वि सूर्यो मध्ये अमुचद्रथं दिवो विदद्दासाय प्रतिमानमार्यः । दृळ्हानि पिप्रोरसुरस्य मायिन इन्द्रो व्यास्यच्चकृवाँ ऋजिश्वना ॥
The sun unyoked his chariot in the midst of the sky, (when) the Ārya (Indra) encountered the Dāsaassociated with Ṛjiśvan, Indra destroyed the stronghold of the guileful asura, Pipru.

अना॑धृष्टानि धृषि॒तो व्या॑स्यन्नि॒धीँरदे॑वाँ अमृणद॒यास्य॑: । मा॒सेव॒ सूर्यो॒ वसु॒ पुर्य॒मा द॑दे गृणा॒नः शत्रूँ॑रशृणाद्वि॒रुक्म॑ता ॥ अनाधृष्टानि धृषितो व्यास्यन्निधीँरदेवाँ अमृणदयास्यः । मासेव सूर्यो वसु पुर्यमा ददे गृणानः शत्रूँरशृणाद्विरुक्मता ॥
Bold (Indra) has annihilated the (hitherto) unbaffled (hosts of the asura), the objects of Ayasya'sadoration has despoiled the impious of their treasures; the sun as if with the (aid of the) moon has seized uponthe wealth of the cities (of the asuras), glorified (by his worshippers), he has demolished the foe with his blazing(thunderbolt).

अयु॑द्धसेनो वि॒भ्वा॑ विभिन्द॒ता दाश॑द्वृत्र॒हा तुज्या॑नि तेजते । इन्द्र॑स्य॒ वज्रा॑दबिभेदभि॒श्नथ॒: प्राक्रा॑मच्छु॒न्ध्यूरज॑हादु॒षा अन॑: ॥ अयुद्धसेनो विभ्वा विभिन्दता दाशद्वृत्रहा तुज्यानि तेजते । इन्द्रस्य वज्रादबिभेदभिश्नथः प्राक्रामच्छुन्ध्यूरजहादुषा अनः ॥
(Indra), leading an irresistible army, slaying Vṛtra with the pervading piercing (bolt), gives (wealth tohis worshippers), thins the (hosts of the asuras) which have to be attacked; (the whole host of the enemy) wasafraid of Indra's wide-destroying thunderbolt, the purifying (sun) came forth, Uṣas left her cart.
