वसुं॒ न चि॒त्रम॑हसं गृणीषे वा॒मं शेव॒मति॑थिमद्विषे॒ण्यम् । स रा॑सते शु॒रुधो॑ वि॒श्वधा॑यसो॒ऽग्निर्होता॑ गृ॒हप॑तिः सु॒वीर्य॑म् ॥ वसुं न चित्रमहसं गृणीषे वामं शेवमतिथिमद्विषेण्यम् । स रासते शुरुधो विश्वधायसोऽग्निर्होता गृहपतिः सुवीर्यम् ॥
I glorify him who is of wonderful radiance like the sun, the desirable, the giver of happiness, the guest(of man), the benevolent. He bestows vigour (upon the worshippers); Agni, the remover of sorrow, the sustaineerof all, the invoker (of the gods), the lord of the mansion.

जु॒षा॒णो अ॑ग्ने॒ प्रति॑ हर्य मे॒ वचो॒ विश्वा॑नि वि॒द्वान्व॒युना॑नि सुक्रतो । घृत॑निर्णि॒ग्ब्रह्म॑णे गा॒तुमेर॑य॒ तव॑ दे॒वा अ॑जनय॒न्ननु॑ व्र॒तम् ॥ जुषाणो अग्ने प्रति हर्य मे वचो विश्वानि विद्वान्वयुनानि सुक्रतो । घृतनिर्णिग्ब्रह्मणे गातुमेरय तव देवा अजनयन्ननु व्रतम् ॥
Accept, Agni, being well plural ased, my praises, author of great deeds, (you are) cognizant of all objectsof knowledge; anointed with butter, stimulate the movements of the Brāhmaṇa; the gods produce (rewards)after your worship.

स॒प्त धामा॑नि परि॒यन्नम॑र्त्यो॒ दाश॑द्दा॒शुषे॑ सु॒कृते॑ मामहस्व । सु॒वीरे॑ण र॒यिणा॑ग्ने स्वा॒भुवा॒ यस्त॒ आन॑ट् स॒मिधा॒ तं जु॑षस्व ॥ सप्त धामानि परियन्नमर्त्यो दाशद्दाशुषे सुकृते मामहस्व । सुवीरेण रयिणाग्ने स्वाभुवा यस्त आनट् समिधा तं जुषस्व ॥
Traversing the seven regions (of the universe), immortal Agni, bestow wealth, giving liberally to thepious liberal giver. Gratify with easily obtainable riches, together with fair offspring, him who feeds you with fuel.

य॒ज्ञस्य॑ के॒तुं प्र॑थ॒मं पु॒रोहि॑तं ह॒विष्म॑न्त ईळते स॒प्त वा॒जिन॑म् । शृ॒ण्वन्त॑म॒ग्निं घृ॒तपृ॑ष्ठमु॒क्षणं॑ पृ॒णन्तं॑ दे॒वं पृ॑ण॒ते सु॒वीर्य॑म् ॥ यज्ञस्य केतुं प्रथमं पुरोहितं हविष्मन्त ईळते सप्त वाजिनम् । शृण्वन्तमग्निं घृतपृष्ठमुक्षणं पृणन्तं देवं पृणते सुवीर्यम् ॥
The seven (priests) bearing oblations worship Agni, the emblem of sacrifice, the first of the gods, thefamily priest, the possessor of food, the hearer (of our prayers), the anointed with butter, the shedder of moisture,propitiating the worshipper who propitiates him, divine, endowed with excellent might.

त्वं दू॒तः प्र॑थ॒मो वरे॑ण्य॒: स हू॒यमा॑नो अ॒मृता॑य मत्स्व । त्वां म॑र्जयन्म॒रुतो॑ दा॒शुषो॑ गृ॒हे त्वां स्तोमे॑भि॒र्भृग॑वो॒ वि रु॑रुचुः ॥ त्वं दूतः प्रथमो वरेण्यः स हूयमानो अमृताय मत्स्व । त्वां मर्जयन्मरुतो दाशुषो गृहे त्वां स्तोमेभिर्भृगवो वि रुरुचुः ॥
You are the chief and most excellent messenger; do you, invoked by us to partake of the ambrosia,become exhilarated; the Maruts decorated you in the dwelling of the donor of the oblation; the Bhṛgus have glorified you with hymns.
