अस्यामायत्तमस्माकं यत्कृत्यं रघुनन्दन । अहमेनं वधिष्यामि ग्रहीष्याम्यपि वा मृगम् ॥ ३-४३-४६

- Oh ! Lakshmana, delight of the Raghu dynasty. Whatever duty we have to perform depends on her protection. I will either kill the deer or catch it - ॥ 3-43-46॥
