अवटे ये निधीयन्ते तेषां लोकास्सनातनाः । एवमुक्त्वा तु काकुत्थ्सं विराधश्शरपीडितः ॥ ३-४-२३

Those ( demons ) who are buried in the pit attain heaven. Having said so to the scion of the Kakutstha race ( Rama ), Viradha, hit by the arrows . - ॥ 3-4-23॥

english translation

avaTe ye nidhIyante teSAM lokAssanAtanAH । evamuktvA tu kAkutthsaM virAdhazzarapIDitaH ॥ 3-4-23
