अभिवाद्याब्रवीच्छिष्यस्तथेति नियताञ्जलिः । ततो निष्क्रम्य सम्भ्रान्तश्शिष्यो लक्ष्मणमब्रवीत् ॥ ३-१२-१३

sanskrit

- 'So be it ' said the disciple respectfully with folded palms in response. Then the disciple in a state of excitement came out of the hermitage and said to Lakshmana . - ॥ 3-12-13॥

english translation

abhivAdyAbravIcchiSyastatheti niyatAJjaliH । tato niSkramya sambhrAntazziSyo lakSmaNamabravIt ॥ 3-12-13
