तस्मान निमन्त्रये तवाहं दुहितुः पृथिवीपते शुद्धॊ जितेन्द्रियॊ दान्तस तस्याः शुद्धिः कृता मया ॥ ४-६७-५ ॥

sanskrit

‘Therefore, O monarch, I, who am pure and ever in control of my senses, beseech you to grant your daughter to me as a daughter-in-law. In this way, I affirm her chastity and honor.’ ॥ 4-67-5 ॥

english translation

tasmAna nimantraye tavAhaM duhituH pRthivIpate zuddhò jitendriyò dAntasa tasyAH zuddhiH kRtA mayA ॥ 4-67-5 ॥
