[विराट] यद्य एष राजा कौरव्यः कुन्तीपुत्रॊ युधिष्ठिरः कतमॊ ऽसयार्जुनॊ भराता भीमश च कतमॊ बली ।। ४-६६-१ ।।
‘Virata said, ‘If this indeed is the Kuru king Yudhishthira, the son of Kunti, then which of these is his brother Arjuna, and which the mighty Bhima?'’ ।। 4-66-1 ।।
नकुलः सहदेवॊ वा दरौपदी वा यशस्विनी यदा दयूते जिताः पार्था न परज्ञायन्त ते कव चित ।। ४-६६-२ ।।
‘Which is Nakula, which Sahadeva, and where is the celebrated Draupadi? Since their defeat at dice, the sons of Pritha have not been seen or heard of by anyone.’ ।। 4-66-2 ।।
‘Arjuna said, ‘Even this one, O king, who is called Vallava and serves as thy cook, is none other than Bhima, mighty-armed, of terrible prowess, and tremendous speed.'’ ।। 4-66-3 ।।
‘It was he who slew the furious Rakshasas on the mountains of Gandhamadana and brought to Krishna the celestial flowers of exquisite fragrance.’ ।। 4-66-4 ।।
‘Even he is that Gandharva-like hero who slew the wicked Kichaka and who, within the inner apartments of thy palace, vanquished tigers, bears, and boars.’ ।। 4-66-5 ।।
