ते शङ्खनादेन कुरुप्रवीराः; संमॊहिताः पार्थ समीरितेन उत्सृज्य चापानि दुरासदानि; सर्वे तदा शान्ति परा बभूवुः ।। ४-६१-११ ।।

'Hearing the blast of his conch, the foremost Kuru warriors were stupefied by its mighty sound. Dropping their bows in fear, they all fell silent, completely awed by the son of Pritha.' ।। 4-61-11 ।।

te zaGkhanAdena kurupravIrAH; saMmòhitAH pArtha samIritena utsRjya cApAni durAsadAni; sarve tadA zAnti parA babhUvuH || 4-61-11 ||

तथा विसंज्ञेषु परेषु पार्थः; समृत्वा तु वाक्यानि तथॊत्तरायाः निर्याहि मध्याद इति मत्स्यपुत्रम; उवाच यावत कुरवॊ विसंज्ञाः ।। ४-६१-१२ ।।

'Seeing the Kuru army thus stupefied, Partha, recalling the words of Uttara, addressed the son of the Matsya king: ‘O best of men, go now among the Kurus while they remain senseless.'' ।। 4-61-12 ।।

tathA visaMjJeSu pareSu pArthaH; samRtvA tu vAkyAni tathòttarAyAH niryAhi madhyAda iti matsyaputrama; uvAca yAvata kuravò visaMjJAH || 4-61-12 ||

'Bring away the white garments of Drona and Kripa, the yellow and handsome attire of Karna, and also the blue garments of the king and Drona’s son.' ।। 4-61-13 ।।

'I suspect that Bhishma is not insensible, for he knows how to counter this weapon of mine. Therefore, proceed carefully, keeping his steeds to your left, so as to avoid any warriors who are still conscious.' ।। 4-61-14 ।।

'Hearing these words, the illustrious son of Matsya relinquished the reins of his steeds, leapt from the chariot, and, taking the garments of the warriors, returned to his place.' ।। 4-61-15 ।।
